Hello! I am based currently in Louisville, KY, but originally from Cincinnati, OH (Go Bengals!).
For most of my life, I worked as a server, enjoying the fast-paced environment and the connections I made with people every day. However, when COVID-19 struck and I was laid off, I decided to turn this challenging situation into an opportunity for growth. Using my unemployment checks, I began studying coding, immersing myself in a world that was both new and exciting. This dedication led to a remarkable opportunity—a coding bootcamp sponsored by Humana. Completing the bootcamp opened the door to an internship with Humana, which marked the beginning of my career as a data analyst. Since then, I have been continuously studying and learning about data analytics, and I have found my true passion in this field.
As a data analyst, I thrive on uncovering insights from complex data sets and helping organizations make informed decisions. The journey from a server to a data analyst has been transformative, demonstrating the power of resilience and continuous learning. Every step I take in this field reaffirms my commitment to leveraging data to drive positive change and innovation.
Outside of my professional life, I am a proud parent to my 15-year-old son, who loves gaming and golf. Balancing work and family is a joy, especially as we share our interests and hobbies.
Personally, I am passionate about staying active and connected to nature. I love practicing yoga, running, and engaging in various outdoor activities, including water sports. These pursuits not only keep me physically fit but also provide a refreshing balance to my analytical work, allowing me to approach each new challenge with a clear and focused mind.
